Christmas Greetings and other yadah-yadah

for me???

Cliché as it might sound, it was never the gift that makes us happy but the thought that someone remembers and that he/she cares. Whether the gift is simple or extravagant, it really doesn’t matter.

Let me take this opportunity to greet everyone Merry Christmas and a Prosperous 2009!!!

Special mention to these people who have been a vital part in my blogging world. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, thank you for inspiring your readers (including me)!

Peter – for making me realize that Belgium is not as “foreign” as I have imagined it to be. That beyond our cultural differences, we both share an inquisitive mind to know what’s beyond our surrounding and share them through the beauty of photography.

Sidney – your blog has always been an inspiration to me. I’ve always admire your photojournalistic approach in choosing topics to feature. Thank you for always showing both sides of the coin. Thank you for making me appreciate the Philippines more.

Redbaron – for putting “sense” into my head. One piece of advice though, please update more often. I need my daily sustenance.

Kyels – You’re fondness for the Philippines simply warm my heart. And truly, thank you for regularly visiting my blog. I appreciate it.

Chris – Your visit/comment is something I look forward to. Brief but it’s always something to think about.

LIES! – I owe you a lot. Please forgive the unsent letters. I hope to make up. Thank you for being a wonderful friend. Thank you for everything. Saying all these things is an understatement. I was never good with words. Glædelig Jul!
----------

Ferdz – Visiting your blog has been an addicting habit. It doesn’t help that I gloat a lot when I see the images that you produce. I admire you for being one of the best ambassadors of how “beautiful and unexplored” the Philippines is. I wish you more awards next year. You are very much deserving.

Oggie – May kasalanan (ata) ako sa’yo. I have three words for you: Haunted Philippines, Sagada. Hehehe. Although wala akong kinalaman sa final output pero lately ko lang nalaman na photos mo pala ang ginamit doon. Salamat sa magagandang images. Magkaibigan nga kayo ni Ferdz. Galing n'yo pareho.

Jim – It’s funny how blogging/photography brought us. I’ve remembered you as my intern supervisor. Di naman serious pero strict. Best of luck to you and your family in Australia.

Toe – May utang pa kami ni Oki sa’yo, hehe. Thank you for introducing me to Cambodia and for sharing the “things we need to know”. Thank you for accommodating us.

Diong – Nakatago pa ang mga paintings na pinadala mo! Those are few of the things I treasure a lot. You’re talent is something to behold.

Redge – I can wallow on your images. With just a title and a photo, you were able to tell a hundred thoughts. It’s rare that I see an image that both reflect beauty and invoke an array of feelings.

Photo Cache – Yours is one of the few blogs I am glad I came across. Thanks for sharing your world and thank you for always checking back.

Dom – I admire your enthusiasm. Your love for photography is evident in the images that you produce and the way you tell your story to accompany such great experience. Thank you for sharing them.

Luthien – Masayang magbasa ng blog lalo na kung madali mong na-iimagine ang lahat. Salamat sa blog dahil kahit di na kita nakikita ay updated ako sa buhay mo.

Tet – mag-update ka naman! Hehehe. Kita tayo next week. :-)

Dylan – Aren’t I am glad we’ve met? Before blogging, there was only “essay”. I’ve always keep in mind the kind of books that you read. You have one of the biggest brains.

Mar – I am a silent admirer of your blog. Napapatawa ako sa mga sinusulat mo. Madalas akong naka-emo mode! Oha.

Sel – Salamat kay Jun Lana at nagkita tayo. Salamat sa inyo ni Zoe and your little angel. More books to read next year!!!

Mam Gina – Salamat sa lahat!

Angela – Thanks for the chat over slices of pizza and a humongous calzone. Goodluck sa studies mo!

Hey, thanks, Rayts, you honour me far too much. But thanks to you and Sidney I feel like I have discovered a bit of the Philippines. And as you say, differences are interesting, you need not fear them (the last part is my thought).
I wish you all the best and look forward to visiting your blog even after Christmas :-)

Merry Christmas Rayts! :)

Katuwa nga na online pa tayo actively nagkaroon ng 'balitaktakan' I guess we were quite busy back then (kahit magkapitbahay lang opisina natin!). I'm really glad to share my passion on photography with you and I'm very happy to just watch and learn also from your technical skills and be inspired by your photos!

Have a blessed New Year!
