If you resist reading what you disagree with, how will you ever acquire deeper insights into what you believe? The things most worth reading are precisely those that challenge our convictions.

Interesting photo again. I'm guessing this bus is not from the Phil. Probably in SG?
Ang lalim ng text pero totoo yun. There are some ideas din that somehow challenges your beliefs. Nakakatawa nga eh, you read it then you say "That's hearsay! Di totoo yan!" Then after a while you'll question "....totoo ba to?" then you'll look for answers.
@Ferdz: yep. This was taken during one of my bus rides in Singapore. I was standing at the back of the driver and the bus came to a halt when I decided to get a snap of him from the mirror. He wasn't looking at me. The quote was just about it. Exactly the way I feel and I am glad we're on the same side of the boat. It's good to question.
@Sel: kamusta na? op cors u can! minsan ang kailangan lang natin ay isang malufet na obserbasyon at matinik na mata para makita ang mga bagay-bagay na madalas ay dinadaan-daanan lang natin.
@Peter: yea, it's good to challenge our own convictions from time to time. although i guess it's inherent that we do, being a rational human being.
@Kyels: i am glad you agree. i guess that's why sometimes, we are always "in a battle" with ourselves.
@Dong: yea, mature enough to accept that even what we think is right then, could be the very reason we falter today. so right.
@Chris: we always in a battle with every idea that is being presented to us. that is how it is.
@Mike: you guessed it right. This was taken in Singapore. Well, you should know that here in Quezon City, there are "good-looking and modern-looking" buses roaming around (a few of them). You know the kind that will not make you puke because of the combination of different smells from the air freshener down to the smell of the gas.

I agree so very much with this.
You should take an exercise in having your convictions challenged from time to time.
I agree w/you. If we keep contradicting ourselves, we won't acquire deeper insights too. Faith is everything; to make us believe.

i agree with this but i think only the people who are mature enough can take this. people who face challenges and grow.
How true. It is difficult to wrap one's mind around a persuasive argument that one disagrees with.
This Bus looks to clean and modern to be in the Philippines!
