Always on the edge

an insect with one antenna. i did not notice this at first as I was busy watching this little prick fall from the edge which it never did by the way. it stayed until i got tired of watching. it stayed at the edge.

I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over.
Out on the edge you see all the kinds of things you can't see from the center.

~Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.~

I am fond of this particular quote only because I always find myself contradicting it. Although I often say I am always at the mercy of my own choices, I was never a chronic risk taker.

Wow, pang agrobiodive na ito a! Baka-bakahan sa okra! When i was a kid i thought the two always go together or magkadugtong sa pwet! Ito siguro nalulungkot kasi wala ang kadugtong nya! hehe.

BTW, i just realized thru your photo that it has a big face design as a defense mechanism for it to look big. But it didnt work for us, hinuhuli pa rin namin sila.

photo cache: and i thought the shot wasn't that close enough. i used 18-200 mm for this particular shot. a closer shot would blurr the insect.

'te nidz: baka-bakahan pala ang tawag dito. didn't know that. may natutunan na naman ako sa'yo! alam mo andami kong kuha sa mga insektong ito at karamihan sa kanila magkakadugtong ang mga pwet. i will post them in my next entry. ito lang ata yung walang kadugtong. loner siguro, hehe.

dom: wow naman. salamat din.

We are opposites in that respect then. My motto has always been "Live dangerously, die young". I'm doing pretty good :-)
