My boss is in Vietnam right now and I am envious. I was there last year and I really had the best time. I am not much of a daredevil when it comes to (exotic) food but I love everything Vietnamese. Maybe because I am a fan of Chinese cuisine and the influence is very much aparent especially in the South Vietnam.
Also, the people in Vietnam are beautiful. Say, this skillful lady rower for instance, whom I met when were cruising along the Cai Bai river. She doesn't talk much (could be the language barrier) but i love her sheepish smile and I love the way she registers in my camera.

That second photo is really good, you caught the eyes nicely under the rim of her hat. You used your flash, I guess.

i am not much of a flash user (unless i really have to). the lighting was good that particular afternoon (notice the over-exposed sky) and we were cruising really slow so i had no problem setting the camera. if i used a flash maybe there would be more details on the hair, but then again the light would bounce too much on her face. F/5 1/100 sec and 200 for the ISO speed.
I love the last shot! Medyo nawala nga lang yung highlight details sa taas nung hat making it look cut off(?) pero otherwise it looks great in Mono, pati yung mild smile nya.
I love vietnamese food din. Dami kasing variety na hindi naman mahirap or nakakatakot kainin :D
I also love Vietnamese food! and I agree, Vietnamese ladies might as well qualify as the most beautiful Southeast Asians (well, in mainland Southeast Asia, i.e.). I've been around the Greater Mekong Subregion Countries (Yunnan Province, China; Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand and Vietnam) and I have to admit that the most lovely ladies that I've seen are in Vietnam. :)

@Ferdz: onga, nawala tuloy yung conical shape ng kanyang hat. masarap talaga mga Vietnamese noodles nila, malasa.
@Jim: precisely, women in Vietnam are really pretty even those in the really poor, remote areas. kaya din siguro sumikat masyado ang Miss Saigon (although mostly Pinoy ang cast at Pinoy si Lea). most of them have silky black hair too, hehe.
